Westfield Garden State Plaza is a two-story, upscale shopping mall located in Paramus, New Jersey, at the intersection of Route 4 and Route 17 near the Garden State Parkway, and about 15 miles west of Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge.
Westfield Garden State Plaza is the largest mall in New Jersey with more than 300 stores, restaurants and a centrally-located food court. Its five department store anchors are JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Visitors to the Plaza had a wide variety of specialty shops and famous name brand stores from which to choose, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor, Bath & Body Works, Gucci, Helzberg Diamonds and Tory Burch, among others. Shopping for the younger set? Try stores such as The Children’s Place, Justice and Toys R Us.
In addition to a diverse selection of options at the Food Court, shoppers can relax in one of the many restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday’s, Johnny Rockets and the Grand Lux Café. A number of eateries offer special deals when you present a paid same-day stub from the Garden State 16 movie theater, located on-site.
Amenities include valet parking at several entrances and gift-wrapping services at three locations, both for a nominal fee; flat screen televisions and foreign language interpretation in the Guest Services Lounge; and specially-marked spaces for expectant mother parking. There are two exclusive family-friendly lounges which feature private nursing areas, baby changing stations and rest area with televisions airing children’s programming. Westfield garden State Plaza also is home to one of the area’s only carousels, located near the Macy’s entrance.
Shoppers can access free wireless Internet connections throughout the mall. Regular shopping hours are 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The mall is closed on Sunday except for the movie theater and several restaurants, which have separate non-mall entrances.
